Singapore Customs have a list of non-negotiable requirement for private and commercial vehicles that are being brought into the country to make sure they are in compliance with local regulations.

 

Singapore Customs only allow vehicles that are no more than three years old to enter through any of it’s ports. The vehicle must also pass rigorous inspection at authorized centers to ascertain they’re fit for the road.

 

Cars must use unleaded petrol and must CFC-free air conditioner. Singapore takes road safety and environment preservation seriously, that’s why they have strict regulations about what type of car car drive through it’s streets.

 

If you’re bringing in a car through an authorized agent like us, we will file an application to the right agency and make sure to supply them with all of the information they need in order to determine the costs that needs to be applied to your vehicle.

 

Once the approval is settled, we will be appointing the right freight forwarder to deliver the car to the ports of Singapore. We will also be submitting all of the In-Payment permit through TradeNet.

 

After the In-Payment permit has been approved, our import managers are already allowed to remove the vehicle from the ports and submit it for approval to the Land Transportation Authority for further testing and approval.

 

This would be the last and final step of the process. Once the car has been fully approved by all government institutions, you can have your car picked up or delivered to you.

    I dont think this falls under the classic car scheme.
